Re: My messages ?

Chances are they were moved to contract only areas of the boards and you don't have a support contract associated with your login.

HMI, FT View SE/ME, and Programmable Controllers all require a support contract to discuss.

Re: My messages ?

As a new user my first post has also been moved/stroke deleted, I guess to the same area where I cannot access it.

I thought the idea of forums was so the community can help on problems associated with products without the intervention of the supplier and the need for contracts etc, if we had a contract then we may as well not use the forum and talk to the support line. I bought our software 5 months ago and so I am assuming it is covered by support which I have been getting, first time I used it I realised the alarms handler had a serious bug in it, I spent 2 days putting al lthe problems right with it and upgrading to the latest version, which still is not working right.

I would like to think that as a message forum we can access all areas otherwise it seems to be a complete waste of time and effort!

If you can tell me how to link my log in details on here to some kind of support contract then please let me know.

Thanks

John

Re: My messages ?

If you have a support contract, you can link it to your Knowledge Base/Forum account using the TechConnect Authorization#.

Please see the following technote for more info:
