My customer spec'd a 9300-radkit modem to be installed in a new station to connect to an existing modem. The existing modem is a US Rotobics modem. The existing modem is setup to interrogate the new modem for data collection. I'm having a problem setting up the AT commands in the rad modem. I have tried various setting with no luck. The customer gave me the setting of the existing modem but some of the rad modem AT commands are different. When I'm on site, I can hear the robotics modem dial into the rad modem but there is no activity on the TX or RX light. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try to take a look to the following web site :
http://www.rockwellautomation.com/services/onlinep
On the right side of the web page there are useful links to Tutorial and Config. settings...I've found them interesting and used them sometimes with success...
Hope the same for you.... ![]()
Just remember to set the modem to Auto Answer, so that it will start connection to calling modem when this last will call.
