Ask pc

Hi Everyone,

I'm Pat Carle, Rockwell's Product Manager for XM and our non-contact sensor products. I've been in the condition monitoring game for a lot of years: doing it, consulting for it,  writing s/w for it, developing h/w for it, and writing for it - users manuals, technical papers, presentations, whatever...  So I'll be happy to talk about any of my products, or pretty much about any aspect of condition monitoring.

I am also a member of the API-670 committee that is working on Rev 5. Be glad to talk about that as well (if you don't know what API-670 means then don't worry about it, you probably don't need to know).

Now that we have this great tool I'll be checking it regularly. If anyone would like to ask me anything, don't hesitate. If I can't answer it, I'll either find someone that can - or I'll make something up :smileyhappy:

Re: Ask pc

Oh, you guys must be special!  Most of the product managers I corner say they'll stop in the forums, but so far, Pat is the only one to admit openly that he's the product manager!

Hopefully he didn't just paint a nice big target on his forehead!  :smileyhappy:

All kidding aside, Pat seems to be a pretty nice guy and I am grateful he's committed to helping out around here!  So, ask away, everyone.
