I am using emonitor version 3.3 with datapac 1500 and enpac 2500. I cannot get "inspection notes" applied to collection points in the field to display in database.
If I print a report(inspection code) they are there Is there a setting within emonitor which must be selected?

Inspection Codes can be displayed in a report as you mentioned. However, they can also be displayed on a plot. To display Inspection Codes or notes on a plot just click the N key. To hid them again just press the N key again.
Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Mr.Hood.
I have tried this without success on many of my routes. The new inspection notes will not appear on the plot no matter how many times I press N key. I can only hide or unhide the ones I have already in place.
I also tried creating a single point test route and was, for reasons unknown, able to get the new stored inspection code to display on the plot but for some reason they will not display on the plots when stored on any of my 40 established routes.?? I have to write them down and add them to the plot after downloading the route data which is very time consuming.

Hmmm that is a strange one? Have you double checked to make sure all of your codes are set to the measurement level? To do this go to SETUP/OPTIONS/INSPECTION CODES and make sure all are set to the measurement level as shown in the dialog box below:
Let me know if they are all set to the measurement level. if not change them to the measurement level and let me know if this works. Good Luck!!

Mr.Hood.
When I checked, the inspection codes in our database were setup way back before my time (datalines were being used) with the Ack.(acknowledge) fields all set to "yes". Some codes were set to "hierarcy" instead of "measurement". I changed to your recommended settings and it now works!!! Hooray!
Thanks for the help. I had twice previously posed this question to the Rockwell help desk without resolution and was last advised to reinstall client software to correct problem(?)
Best regards,
Callum Mac Donald
