SCCR??

okay I am a little lost about this whole SCCR thing. I have ratings for all my terminal blocks, disconnects, drives and contactors. I know that my power supply is not included in this calculation. However, I cannot find SCC ratings for a safety realy, small 24vdc realy and buttons. Do these need to be included when calculating the sccr of a panel? All the examples i have seen do not have any of these componants, or any low voltage(24vdc) componants in them. They only seem to have the high (power) voltage componants.

My panel is 460VAC and 24 VDC.

Please help

Re: SCCR??

The SCCR is typically for power circuits above 240VAC and not for control circuits.  The SCCR relies on the overcurrent protection to the power device.  Most of the fuse manufacturers have white papers explaining the SCCR calculation process but you can you an overall ovecurrent protective device (OPD) for your panel and raise the SCCR considerably.  One example is using a Class J type fuse for the incoming line to a power distribution block.  Can raise the whole cabinet to 100kA.
