1756-hyd02

I keep getting axis fault even when I change3 to channel 1

 

Feedback OK if I drive hyd. valve with external source

 

Valve drive with a nine volt battery

 

getting flashing red on feedback and drive

Feedback faults can occur with the 1756-HYD02 if the modules Servo Update Time is not large enough; try increasing it.  Check that by selecting the HYD02 properties and then the Associated Axis tab.  When you configure the axis with the axis properties area, on the Feedback Tab you enter the feedback devices information, there is a Calculate selection that will determine the minimum Servo Update Period.  It does not automatically make that change on the HYD02's properties page.
