Hi, first post here so hope its in the right section.  I have a 2098-DSD-020X drive and I am trying to make it index from the Preset Inputs. I have tried just about everything I can think of but can't get it to work. If I set the drive to Preset Position mode then the inputs will work fine but as soon as I put it into Index mode then I cant get it to work.                                                                                                 

 I know the Inputs must be getting seen by the drive because If I do not home on first power up and try to Index via one of the Inputs then E027 (drive not homed) will come up.  If I home the drive it homes but after that nothing, anyone have any ideas? Also I have tried with a 010x drive and get the same problem.

Well its just typical, I have been trying to get this working all weekend without success and two minutes after posting on this forum I have it worked out. Seems I need to apply the Start Index input after I have selected the Preset Input that I wish to use. I had previously tried without the Start Index Input , also tried with it always active and had tried applying it at the same time as I applied the Preset Input. Thought I would just post in case someone else has problems.                                                                                                                                                               Hood
