EtherNet/IP Capacity Tool v1.4

I am having an installation issue with the EtherNet/IP Capacity Tool v1.4.  When I click setup.exe I receive a momentary hourglass then nothing.  If I look in the task manager I see setup.exe in the processes tab but noting in the applications tab.  The setup appears to hang without ever reaching the EtherNet/IP Capacity Tool setup splash page.  I have rebooted my WXP Pro SP2 machine to no avail.

I copied the files to a thumb drive and installed successfully on another PC.  I then copied the Program Files > EtherNet IP Capacity Tool directory back to my original PC.  I can run the tool but since it was not "installed" it is not "detected" by the Current Updater nor is it listed in the "Add/Remove Programs" group.

Please advise if there is a way to "completely uninstall" this tool (including registry keys) so that I can retry a fresh install.

Thank you.

Re: EtherNet/IP Capacity Tool v1.4

How long are you waiting for the setup to actually start?  When I installed v1.3, it took about one and a half minutes to actually "start" the installation.  Not the cleanest software install by any means but it finally installed.  Could possibly be the problem with v1.4.  Also to remove any bad installer files after you've technically uninstalled a product using a .msi file, download from Microsoft the Windows Installer Clean UP utility (msicuu2.exe was the executable at one time).  This cleans up any .msi uninstall issues.  Two rules though: 1)Use with CAUTION and 2)Remember rule #1.

Try and download the v1.3 of EtherNetIP Capacity tool and install to see if you continue to have problems.  Let us know what happens.
