AutoCad 2010

I have loaded Autocad 2010 and it does not support the 2007-2009 runtime extension for the ABECAD app. Any idea when this will be added or do I need to download a new file.

Re: AutoCad 2010

Hi- We are currently working on releasing a new arx that will work with AutoCAD 2010.  We are hoping to have this arx released by the end of May 2009, if not sooner.

Thanks- Jen

Hi Jen,

I just got a call from a customer asking the same thing.

Any word on the date for Autocad 2010 compatability?

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Jen, a follow up. Our customer is using Autocad Electrical 2010. Thanks again, Frank

Re: AutoCad 2010

Hi Frank-

Good timing!  The eCADworks 2010 arx will be released via Current program updater tomorrow night (5/28). If you run a Current Update on Friday morning you will have a new arx available to you in AutoCAD that works with 2010.

Thanks-

Jen

Re: AutoCad 2010

Hi I actually have AutoCAD Electrical 2010 installed in my PC. Some days ago I installed also eCADWorks (via internet )on my PC, but I couldn’t load eCADWorks in to AutoCAD Electrical 2010. AutoCAD Electrical 2010 is unable to load the “eCADWorks2007-2009.arx”. I actually tried to load “eCADWorks2007-2009.arx” in to AutoCAD Electrical 2009 also, but I get the same message. My question is, who can I manage to use eCADWorks in AutoCAD Electrical 2010?

Re: AutoCad 2010

If you run a Current update you should get the eCADworks 2010.arx.  To see if you have it go to C:/Program Files/RAISE/ABECAD.  This arx will work with 32 bit 2010 AutoCAD.  If you are still having difficulty you may want to try to reinstall the software and then run a Current Update.

Thanks-

Jen

Re: AutoCad 2010

ControlZ Guy,

The currently released version of eCADWorks2010.arx loads fine in AutoCAD 2010 ( I have seen multiple users run it with no issues), but only the 32bit version of AutoCAD. Are you by chance running a 64-bit version of AutoCAD?

I'm running a 64-bit version and cannot get this to load.
