Username bug

Big problem here since this morning login... every user that will log in the Forum will have his nickname changed with the KB username... not a nice thing, because lately all the usernames was using the e-mail address ! :smileymad:

 

So, until it will be fixed, for all the users who want to change it back to a nickname, it is possible to go in the My Stuff --> Profile from the KB home page and change it... remember after that, the new username must be used also to login the KB....

After a long friday for KurtH :smileywink: , the problem seems to be solved at last, and the Usernames are now what they should be.

 

Just I guess now they become again *locked* , so those Users who got the name changed into a mail address, they cannot change it now using the suggestion in the first post... only way is to ask Moderators to do this, sending them a Private Message here in the Forum.

Yes, as fuzzy says, the username field is populating correctly.  Kurt has identified a few accounts that need to be manually fixed up.  However, if you noticed something about your OWN account that seems wrong/you don't like, send me a PM and we'll straightened it out.
